The  People Power Revolution

was a peaceful uprising that took place in the Phillippines in February 1986. This zine illustrates the event that ousted the dictator Ferdinand Marcos and his family from power. Using the power of ordinary people, the military, the church, and students, this uprising sparked a wave of social change in the Phillippines and throughout Southeast Asia.
